Former radio and TV host La La Vazquez and Denver Nuggets baller Carmelo Anthony wed Saturday at the Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Several celebrities were present including: Justin Timberlake, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian, Ludacris, Fabolous, Trina, Serena Williams and LeBron James.
Kanye West celebrated his 33rd birthday Monday by performing for three Chicago Public High Schools. West along with fellow Chicago rappers Common and Lupe Fiasco visited students at Farragut Career Academy, John Marshall Metropolitan and Percy L. Julian high schools. As part of the Kanye West Foundation’s 3rd annual “Stay in School” event, West honored the students for improving their grades, behavior, and attendance, reported the Chicago Tribune.
Fiasco opened the show with “Superstar,” followed by Common performing “Universal Mind Control.” West then performed four songs including “Run This Town,” “Good Life,” “Touch the Sky,” and his new single “Power.”
West didn’t say much during the show but Common addressed the crowd.
“We want to congratulate you on the incredible job you’ve done in school,” said Common, later adding “Whatever you do, be the best at it.”

A dog can learn new tricks. Snoop Dogg recently learned a few card tricks from magician David Blaine in New Jersey.
“You’re too much for TV,” Snoop Dogg exclaimed to Blaine. ”You’ve pulled a special effects CGI maneuver!”

Snoop Dogg and his family went back in time to celebrate the 16th birthday of their eldest son Corde Calvin Broadus aka Spank. The eighties theme party featured a cake shaped like a pair of Adidas gym shoes. Spank received a black Porsche 911 for a birthday gift. His parents; younger brother, Cordell aka Rook and his sister, Cori were there with Spank’s friends to celebrate.

Janet Jackson showed off her new hairdo Friday night at the red carpet premiere of “Why Did I Get Married Too?” in London. Tyler Perry was also there to promote the film.
The 21st annual World Music Awards went down Tuesday night in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Kelly Rowland, N.E.R.D., Ludacris and Jennifer Lopez were just some of the performers at the event.

Toni Braxton and seven-year-old son Diezel filmed a “We Volunteer” public service announcement Monday in New York City. They were supporting the Autism Speaks Foundation. Her son was diagnosed with autism at age three. Braxton also has an eight-year-old son named Denim.
Pharrell celebrated Cinco de Mayo Monday at the White House with President Barack Obama and actress Rosario Dawson. Pharrell posted these pics on his BBC blog.

Lauryn Hill attended the Tanzania Education Trust New York Gala Monday night at the Hotel Plaza Athenee. The event was hosted by President Jakaya Kikwete of the United Republic of Tanzania. Hill also hung out with R&B singer Anthony Hamilton on the red carpet.
Friends of artist and producer Pharrell gave him a surprise party Monday for his 37th birthday in Miami Beach. The theme was Alice in Wonderland. Check out his cake.
