Several celebrities were present including: Justin Timberlake, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Kim Kardashian, Ludacris, Fabolous, Trina, Serena Williams and LeBron James.

Eleven-month Knight was seen Wednesday around Hollywood with his mom Kelis. In May, Kelis’ divorce from rapper Nas was finalized. The couple were married for five years.

Tupac’s ‘Dear Mama’ inducted into Library of Congress

Tupac Shakur’s song, “Dear Mama,” was inducted into the Library of Congress’ Recording Registry, which preserves “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant” recordings that are at least 10 years old. The Library of Congress called the 1995 hit “a moving and eloquent homage to both the murdered rapper’s own mother and all mothers struggling to maintain a family in the face of addiction, poverty and societal indifference.”

“Dear Mama” marks only the third hip-hop recording in the Library of Congress following Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five’s “The Message” and Public Enemy’s album, Fear of a Black Planet. Little Richard’s 1955 hit “Tutti Frutti” and bluesman Howlin’ Wolf’s 1956 single “Smokestack Lightning” were also among the 25 recordings inducted into the Library of Congress.

Jay-Z sued by private jet company for unpaid bill

Jay-Z won’t be flying the friendly skies with Air Platinum Holding anymore. The private jet company filed a lawsuit recently claiming the rapper only paid for 37 of his 55 hours of jet service, reports TMZ. He also owes Air Platinum for catering, fees and a luxury trip to England, which adds up to a total cost of $137,485.

Alicia Keys’ unborn baby blessed in Zulu ceremony in South Africa

While in South Africa for a performance at the World Cup, Alicia Keys and her fiance Swizz Beatz recently had their unborn baby blessed in a Zulu ceremony. Mother and child received traditional Zulu names, reports the Daily Mail. Keys, who is five months pregnant, was chosen to receive the honor because of her work with a local children’s charity Bobbi Bear, whose workers are paid by the singer.

“Alicia has been made part of the tribal family because she really reached out to the people here,” said Bobbi Bear director Jackie Bradfield.

Suge Knight sues Kanye West over party shooting

Isn’t this a switch. Suge Knight, founder of Death Row Records, is suing Kanye West for hosting a Miami Beach party that produced a “dangerous environment” in 2005. Knight was shot in the leg by an unknown gunman during the pre-MTV Video Awards party West hosted at the Shore Club. Knight– who is experiencing financial troubles– is seeking $1 million in damages from the rapper and the club, reports the Associated Press.

West and Knight sat down Friday in a New York office with their lawyers during a six-hour session to settle the dispute. But were unable to finalize the matter.

“I figured I could sit him down, man to man, and get this resolved,” Knight said after the closed-door session at a Fifth Avenue office. “I’m disappointed.”

Oprah gives money and Ipads to employees

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of O magazine, Oprah Winfrey gave each employee Tuesday an Apple iPad, a leather iPad case with their initials, and a check for $10,000.

“These were personal gifts to the staff from Oprah to thank them for their hard work and dedication to the magazine,” said a spokeswoman for Hearst, the company that publishes the magazine.
