Fans who can’t wait until May 2 for the return of “The Boondocks” can catch a sneak peek at the unofficial official blog.  Besides scenes from the new season, boondocksbootleg.com features a Youtube channel and political commentary from creator Aaron McGruder.  The new season begins 10:30 p.m. CST on the Cartoon Network.

 

 
Actress Angela Bassett joins the cast of the movie,”Green Lantern,” which is currently filming in New Orleans. Bassett will play government agent Dr. Amanda Waller.  The film also stars Ryan Reynolds, who plays the lead role, and Peter Sarsgaard, reports Variety.

 

 
First Lady Michelle Obama loves the kids and they love her right back.  She was honored with the Big Help Award Saturday at the Nickelodeon’s Kid Choice Awards.  Obama was acknowledged for her efforts to combat obesity through the Let’s Move campaign, which Nickelodeon donated $3 million.

In Erykah Badu’s video for “Window Seat” she strips down to nothing.  The video has another twist at the end.
